Aleksandra Wagner


Assistant Professor, Sociology, New School for Public Engagement

Aleksandra Wagner teaches and serves as a Faculty Advisor in the Bachelor’s Program for Adults and Transfer Students, NSPE, and is a member, training and supervising analyst and faculty of the National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis.  Her publications include translations of Lebbeus Woods: War and Architecture (1993); Sarajevo Survival Guide (1994); book chapters in Edith Jacobson: Life, Work, Memories (2005); Edinburgh International Encyclopaedia of Psychoanalysis (2006, Executive Editor); “Cabinet” special issue on shame (2008, Editor); Considering Forgiveness (2009, co-Editor, with Carin Kuoni); “Das Ding, That Gives Us Meaning” (2014); an entry, on fortuitous, to Speculation, Now (2014); Afterword to Slow Manifesto: Lebbeus Woods Blog (2016). She is on the Editorial Board of “The Psychoanalytic Review,” an Advisor to the Editorial Board of the journal “Candidate,” and an Editorial Reader for “International Forum of Psychoanalysis.”
