William Morrish is Professor of urban Ecologies at Parsons the The New School for Design, author of Civilizing Terrains (1996), After the Storm (2006), Now Urbanism, 13001 The Waste Odyssey (2015), Are We Displacing People+Planet 4 Code? (2016) and co-author of Planing to Stay (2000), and Growing Urban Habitat (2009). He is nationally recognized urban designer whose interdisciplinary research and practice is applied to innovative community-base city projects and policies in cities across the country, such as the Phoenix Public Art Works urban design Plan, World Trade Center/THINK Team, and Recover New Orleans.
