Angeliki is a Greek-Norwegian designer and PhD-fellow at the Academy of Design and Crafts at University of Gothenburg. Through here project Children let’s Play, she investigates play-based activities as a medium of informal learning with refugee children in emergency settings, as refugee camps.
Angeliki prior to the PhD, has been working in various research projects, as research-assistant to the Centre of Design in Oslo School of Architecture and Design. The projects which she have contributed were focused to youth participation in social media (delTA), to the PhD education, and to the development of cultural hubs in the far North of Norway (partly to FUTURE NORTH). She has also worked in a variety of design projects outside the academia, which includes designing and consultancy for interior private spaces, mobile applications and services for private companies. She has also co-curating two design exhibitions and two artistic exhibitions in Greece and Norway.
Angeliki gained her BA in Interior Architecture and Design from the Technological Institute of Athens. She then moved to Oslo where she got her MA in Design from the Oslo School in 2010.
